We are a hybrid institute i.e we operate both online and onsite with various learning centers across the nation.

Light institute of management business administration and technology frame work was established by the cama act 0F 2020 by the sole proprietor ezeh Emmanuel with a vision to quell all forms of illiteracy and curb the menace of drop out in our tertiary institution in Africa. 

All courses are on scholarship ( each student get to pay a token of gratitude after graduation (10,000 to 45,000 naira).

Level 4 equivalent to certificate of higher education/ of first year of a uk bachelor's degree( most times seen as a OND level).

Level 5 equivalent to diploma of higher education/ ( most times seen as a HND level).

Level 6 equivalent to final years of uk bachelors of degree/ bachelors degree with hons( bachelors level ).

Level 7 equivalent to a post gradguate level of education / masters level without the project ( most times seen as a Masters level).

Descriptors and outcomes

1. The European Qualifications Framework (EQF)

The EQF applies to all types of education, training, and qualifications. It is divided into 8 levels, with each level’s descriptors grouped into three main categories

Knowledge: Factual and theoretical understanding.

Skills: Cognitive (logical, intuitive, and creative thinking) and practical (manual dexterity and use of methods, materials, tools, and instruments).

Autonomy and Responsibility: The ability to manage, supervise, and take decisions in various contexts.

2. Ofqual Descriptors and Outcomes

Ofqual regulates qualifications, examinations, and assessments in England. Ofqual utilizes General Conditions of Recognition that dictate how awarding organizations must design their qualifications. Their descriptors align with the Regulated Qualifications Framework 

Under the Ofqual framework, learning outcomes are partnered with Assessment Criteria:

An Ofqual Level 6 qualification (e.g., a standard Bachelor's Degree in England) maps to EQF Level 6.

An Ofqual Level 8 qualification (e.g., a Doctorate) maps to EQF Level 8.
